Pre-Arrangements

What is a pre-arrangement? A pre-arrangement is choosing the service and possible merchandise (i.e. casket, vault, cemetery property, etc.) before the services are needed. A carefully pre-planned funeral service can be comforting to your family members as it spares them from facing emotionally and financially difficulty decisions at the time of death.

Walker Funeral Home is the oldest continuously family owned and operated funeral home in Carbondale. For this reason, people have made their pre-arrangements with us knowing that it is a service we offer at no charge and is absolutely confidential.

Walker Funeral Homes has burial trust options available through the Illinois Funeral Director's Association. This allows the money you invest to accrue interest while in the account.
